ASA-OK is the Oklahoma chapter of the American Subcontractors Association. Our main purpose, as stated in our mission, is to foster, promote, encourage and develop the best interests of subcontractors, material and service suppliers in the construction industry. We were founded in the late fall of 2002, received full chapter status in March of 2003, and are now the voice for subcontractors in Oklahoma.
143 members strong!
ASA-OK members work in masonry, drywall, plumbing, steel, electrical, mechanical - nearly every specialty trade in the construction business. ASA-OK members are from both open shop and union companies, ranging from small private firms to large specialty contractors. Our members also come from support and service providers, including insurance and bonding companies, banks and accounting services. As of July, 2008, we have 143 members and the number grows each month!
Our meetings are held in both Oklahoma City and Tulsa for the convenience of our members. Monthly meetings in Oklahoma City are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 11:30am to 1pm. Tulsa meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month with an alternating lunch and evening schedule.
